Envisioning the world without boundaries at a very young age Muzaffar started his career as a local guide in Kashmir in 1987. He became the first person from Indian subcontinent to lead high profile American groups in over 50 countries starting from Orient (Japan) on one side all the way through India, Middle-East and Africa to Madagascar.

He frequently took up challenging places to explore with his travelers. Places which lacked facilities yet were powerhouses for learning history, art, craft, culture, and architecture. Some of the exotic places he led his tours include overland journeys from Lhasa to Kathmandu, retracing the Ancient silk route, exploring Mongolian Gobi desert for Dinosaur bones, seeking old cities on Trans-Siberian trails.

Muzaffar has now returned back to his homeland – the valley of Kashmir. The plan is to showcase to the world the uniqueness of Kashmir which is unexplored even though tourism has been here longer than most parts of the world.

On an ad-hoc assignment to accompany some foreign guests Sheeban discovered her true calling. A Convent educated engineer totally involved in her career she left everything and took upon a new road on a new destination. She is today a phenomenon, a professional friend when you visit Kashmir. A great program planner who helps handle operations in the office when she is not out in the field. She carefully watches over small details to ensure that guests have a wonderful time when visiting sights or shopping or on cultural trips. Sheeban will be the friend you miss the most as you leave.

She also enjoys cooking and makes some mouthwatering dishes. A meal with her family is a delight for those who are big foodies.

Another ex-engineer at KC, Tafheem had put in a good 5 years in electronic designing before joining us. Confident with an infectious smile she is the safest pair of hands at KC. Tafheem is a cultural connoisseur and most importantly a friendly leader when you are with her.
She is now an expert in planning an itinerary, sending you all the important information when you are planning your holiday.

On a trip Muzaffar while explaining the cultural importance of Sufism to some of his visitors noticed young Nawaz listening keenly with tremendous curiosity in his eyes. Nawaz's thirst for knowledge brought him closer to Kashmir Caravans, and he later joined it as staff. With time and rigorous training, Nawaz turned into an asset for the company. His knowledge about birds, water bodies together with his kind nature made him popular with guests.
Besides his regular work, he now leads groups and individuals interested in trekking and nomadic culture. Today he is well-versed in the valley's history, culture, and architecture.

A hard working enthusiast Rashid worked for four years with an airline as a valley guide and later as a water research executive for an NGO. Committed to hard work and sincerity Rashid is keen to learn the valley's history that he shares with guests.

A post graduate in Education Extension (Home Sciences) with remarkable grades Irfana always enjoys the places she travels to with her guests. She likes to make itineraries which are off the beaten track. Her knowledge of Sufi shrines, off-trail vegetable markets, local groceries and textile stores is remarkable. She shares with her guests the true culture of Kashmir by showcasing the day to day activities from a commoner's point of view. "Those things you do not find in books", wrote one guest who was accompanied by her for three days in Kashmir. She is an awesome cook and a great teacher when it comes to sharing her knowledge.
